"Sauna from Finland promotes a comprehensive sauna experience that engages multiple senses. In order for the Finnish sauna to offer the world’s best sauna experience, the experience must comprise identifiable, high-quality elements and the core values.
On the basis of various studies, Sauna from Finland has defined the core values of the sauna experience. These values are: 1) authenticity, 2) engagement of multiple senses, 3) presence, 4) relaxation, 5) purity and 6) well-being.
These core values are examined as a whole: before, during and after bathing in the sauna. The sauna experience quality grading can be applied to various kinds of sauna environments, such as tourist attraction saunas, private event saunas, spa and swimming pool saunas and hotel saunas.”
The Marttinen Youth Centre sauna facilities are located by the Antintalo House and the log cabin apartments, and are an excellent venue for social evenings and sauna parties for smaller groups. The facility is best suited for groups of less than 20 people; 8–10 people can bathe in the sauna at once.
The sauna facilities have a terrace with a view to the lake, a small kitchen and a fireplace.
You can order meal services to the sauna facilities from Marttinen’s kitchen.

The smoke sauna, built in 2013, and the lakeshore cabin with its wood-heated sauna or the sauna facilities are a great combination. Having two saunas allows for separate sauna sessions for men and women as well as enjoying a social evening with catering and an event programme.
