Open sauna shifts at Vihta sauna
Sauna and swimming evenings open to all in the good steam of the Vihta sauna and in the refreshing waters of Lake Toisvesi continue again! We heat the saunas for women and men as follows:

16.9.2025 at 17-20
7.10.2025 at 17-20
28.10.2025 at 17-20
11.11.2025 at 17-20
25.11.2025 at 17-20
9.12.2025 at 17-20
16.12.2025 at 17-20

In addition, the day sauna will be jacuzzi on 30.12.2025 at 12-15.

The sauna fee for adults is 7 € and children under 15 years of age can use the sauna free of charge, payment to the reception of the main building. The price of the day sauna on 30.12 is 10 € for adults and 5 € for children under 15 years of age (children only when accompanied by an adult). The sauna fee can also be paid with sports benefits.

Marttinen Christmas Path

Marttinen Christmas Path
Marttinen Island will be full of Christmas atmosphere from 28.11.2025 - that is when the Christmas opening of the Heritage Village and the town of Virrat will be celebrated, as well as the opening of the Marttinen Christmas Path.

Volunteers of European Solidarity Corps in Marttinen will build a Christmas path on the Marttinen Nature Path, which will be open until Epiphany and can be toured independently at any time!

Marttinen promotes equality every day of the year
At the beginning of June, Tampere once again celebrates diversity and equality during the events of Manse Pride Week. Pride Week serves as a reminder that human rights and equality belong to everyone — not just on festive days, but in everyday life, every day.

At the same time, many organisations are reflecting on what equality means in their own operations. This is also the case at Youth Centre Marttinen, which is one of the youth centres awarded the Council of Europe Quality Label for Youth Centres. This label commits the centre to promoting the core values of the Council of Europe: human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.

Equality is not just about speeches — it is about actions that are visible in everyday life. Read more!
